Biesse makes its move PDF Print E-mail
Biesse Canada and Intermac Canada will soon complete their move into their new Canadian Headquarters located in Mirabel, Que., north-west of Montreal.

The 25,000-square-foot building contains nearly 6,000 square feet of space dedicated for offices and meeting and training rooms. A number of green building approaches have been incorporated into the design, such as the liberal use of glass, which will let in abundant sunlight and lessen the need for electric lighting.

Biesse and Intermac machines will be demonstrated in a 6,000-square-foot showroom, where at in-house events such as the company’s “One2One” educational series will take place. The building also features a 13,000-square foot, eight-ton craned warehouse.

“The headquarters’ site in Mirabel was strategically chosen for easy access to freight transportation at the logistical airport of Montreal: Mirabel International Airport,” said Federico Broccoli, president and CEO of the North American operations of Biesse and Intermac in a company press release. “The new Canadian headquarters will be located 5.8 km (3.6 miles) from this airport, and the proximity will allow Biesse to maintain our outstanding track record for shipping and provide the highest level of service and support to our Canadian customers.”

Biesse continues to maintain a 6,200-square foot facility in Toronto, which includes a 5,050-square foot showroom. The company also utilizes the BCIT Showroom in Vancouver, B.C.
