Biesse revises its 2009 trade show presence |
|
Biesse America and Canada have announced they will not participate in the 2009 edition of AWFS taking place this July in Las Vegas. In a company press release, the persisting uncertainty of global financial markets was cited as the reason behind the decision. “Although the market share of Biesse America and Canada continues to grow,” said CEO Federico Broccoli in the release, “We prefer to maintain a cautious approach toward initiatives not showing an immediate return on investment. For this reason, we are tailoring our marketing efforts towards programs that appeal to more specific individuals and companies.” A leading provider of high-tech woodworking, glass and stone fabrication machines and systems, Biesse will continue with its own in-house programs including One2One and Test Drive. Also in its plans is the introduction of several new customer-focused initiatives including the One2One Road Show, One2One WebEx, Webinar Series. More programs are to be announced at a later date.
