SCM Group announces Western Canada changes |

Woodworking machinery manufacturer, SCM Group, has announced changes to the way it sells its products in Western Canada; As of March 2010, its products will be sold directly through SCM Group Canada.
The company has set up new toll-free phone numbers to ensure the continuation of service and parts for customers with SCM and SCM Group machines: parts: 1-866-216-2166 (SCM Group North America); service, 1-877-899-1726 (SCM Group Canada).
Recently, SCM Group announced it would consolidate its presence in Canada as part of a larger, company-wide strategy to become more competitive and increase market share. The plan involves an overall investment of 30 million Euros, product and sales development, and the integration of various departments including logistics, purchasing, support and administration services.
