The 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games feature 23 wood podiums made from one of 18 wood types. The wood was harvested and donated by communities, First Nations, companies and individuals from across British Columbia. UBC’s Centre for Advanced Wood Processing (CAWP) played a key role in creating the ceremony podiums as well as 84 medal trays. [More] [Less]
