CKCA regional meeting
The Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association (CKCA) held its regional meeting and annual golf tournament at the Grand Valley Golf and Country Club in Kitchener/Cambridge, Ont., on Sept. 13.
Highlights of the event were morning tours of George Guenzler & Sons Inc. in Kitchener and Royce Ayr Cutting Tools Inc. in Cambridge.
Guenzler produces furniture and kitchen components that are shipped all over North America.
Their modern facility, which supplies many kitchen producers, features 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machine.
Royce Ayr manufactures and distributes premium quality cutting tools for wood, composite, plastic, rubber and steel cutting applications. The company also manufactures custom-engineered tooling for the woodworking, metalworking, plastic/aluminum and modern composite industries.
The golf tournament got underway after lunch at the Grand Valley Golf and Country Club and was followed by a cocktail reception and later dinner and awards ceremony.
