Peter Mate and Rob Pawluk
Peter Mate and Rob Pawluk recently completed their purchase of the remaining shares of Planit Canada. Earlier this year, Pawluk and Mate bought out two other partners to become equal and only shareholders in Planit Canada Inc. and sold their interests in Cabinet Vision France to those partners.
Mate and Pawluk first met in 2002 when they were working together through Waite Consultants LTD. In 2006, they, along with two partners, purchased shares in Waite Consultants LTD. - the company that held the reseller rights to Planit’s Cabinet Vision, Cabnetware and Alphacam software in Canada. This was the beginning of a four-year succession plan to transfer ownership from Waite Consultants to the four new shareholders. In 2007 the partners accelerated the succession plan and bought the remaining shares of Waite Consultants LTD. That same year the name of the company was changed to Planit Canada Inc. Also in 2007, the partners began the development of business in France under a new company, Cabinet Vision France SARL.
Planit Canada has 22 employees across Canada and is in the process of expanding through additional hires. The company has offices in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Prince Edward Island.
Planit Canada is the second largest Planit reseller worldwide for the third consecutive year (across all industries, metal, wood, sheet metal, etc.).
