HOMAG Canada has been organizing a number of industry events in recent weeks.
First up was a TechTour as part of, and coinciding with HOLZ-HANDWERK 2012. The TechTour featured a number of factory tours, sightseeing tours in Munich and area and a visit of HOLZ-HANDWERK 2012 in Nuremberg, Germany March 21-24.
Participants arrived in Munich, Germany on March 17 for a day of sightseeing. The following days saw several tours and factory visits including BMW World, Sedlbaur, Team 7, Hoerl, Voit, KUKA Robotics and more.
On Thursday and Friday participants visited HOLZ-HANDWERK 2012.
HOMAG also hosted an automation seminar at its Mississauga, Ont. offices March 29 and 30.
The seminar will cover such topics as identifying the right materials, intelligent material handling and smart automation.
Participants will learn how to drastically increase efficiency and reduce operating costs at the same time.
There will be live demonstrations of the latest production cells and participants will learn how to incorporate smart material handling solutions into their production environment. Contact HOMAG Canada for more information.
