Canadians exploring the new Blum showroom including the MOVENTO drawer system.
Blum Canada organized and hosted a group of Canadian manufacturers to tour its head office and factories in Hoechst, Austria prior to visiting Eurocucina, the bi-annual International Kitchen Furniture Exhibition held in Milan.
Blum shared valuable international market trend observations that guide the company’s own product development, invited participants to get insights into its manufacturing facilities and practices by touring a number of highly automated plants, storage and fulfillment facilities and customer service departments.
Participants also visited the brand-new showroom.
One of the most impressive aspects of the tour was a stop at the company’s training facility, which is also home to Blum apprenticeship program. The company offers apprentices seven different career paths in highly technical fields providing an education and future employment opportunities with the company.
The visit to Hoechst also included interesting sightseeing outings and warm Austrian hospitality with great food and entertainment.
