Richelieu, one of the largest distributors, importers and manufacturers of specialized hardware products in North America, has won four Innovation Awards at the National Design and Architecture Exposition (IIDEX) in Toronto September 20–21.
Richelieu was awarded Silver for its Skate & Kite LED light, a surface-mounted, under-cabinet light created by Giuseppe Bavuso and made in Italy. Richelieu also won Bronze in the lighting category for the LED Goccia closet rod light, another creation of Italian designer Bavuso and made in Italy as well.
In the window & door category, Richelieu’s Aperto sliding door system earned Bronze. Aperto is a cabinet sliding door system that maximizes room space. Richelieu also brought home Bronze for its articulated-arm computer keyboard tray, whose ergonomic features significantly increase the comfort of a workstation.
