CKCA members tour Denca
The Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association held its Fall Regional Meeting in Calgary & Lethbridge, Alberta Sept. 24-25.
On Monday, Sept. 24th, participants had an opportunity to tour Denca. Since 1977, Denca’s family-run business has been designing and manufacturing custom cabinetry to fit any space, from contemporary to traditional and offer a wide variety of options. Denca operates out of a 40,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility and a 5,000 sq.ft. design and sales studio.

Following the tour there was a chance to mix business with pleasure at D’Arcy Ranch Golf Club located in Okotoks, just south of Calgary.
On the following day, Sept. 25, participants took part in two plant tours in the Lethbridge area. In the morning they visited BCT Structures. BCT Structures Inc. is a premier custom manufacturer of modular buildings specializing in providing workforce housing, office complexes, schools, lavatories, multi story buildings, affordable housing, kitchen facilities and other customized modular solutions for various industries.
The company operates from a 140,000 sq.ft. state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
Following lunch, the afternoon saw a visit and tour at Adora Kitchens. Adora Kitchens has been in Coaldale for 31 years and employs approximately 50 people at its 30,000 sq.ft. facility. Most sales consist of residential housing in the local area. A shuttle has been arranged for participants from the Calgary area for the Lethbridge tours.
