Richard Bluteau is looking ahead to an exciting 2013.
After one last successful open house at their old offices and showroom at Lorimer Drive in Mississauga, the manager at SCM Group Canada says he is looking forward to even better things in the coming year now that the company has relocated operations to its new home at 4590 Eastgate Parkway in Mississauga, Ont.
The recent open house saw more than 40 customers come out for a look at the latest and greatest SCM Group has to offer.
One highlight was the Practic S router, a new and more economical entry level CNC machine that is now available in both 4x8 and 5x12 configurations.
Bluteau believes that the recently-added 5x12 machine will be “our big seller, it’s very versatile and affordable entry into CNC.”
Overall, he says he was very pleased with the turnout at the open house, even if more customers are always welcome.
“We had a good turnout and we did some business and I am happy with the event.
“And we will certainly plan to have more such events in the coming year, in our new facility, to really show it off and I want to invite our customers and anyone interested in quality woodworking machines to stop by and see what we have to offer.”
Bluteau says the new facility is much more modern, featuring an open concept and airy showroom that will really help showcase their broad machinery selection.
