interzum promises a 'must-see event'

interzum presents the complete range of products and suppliers.

interzum in Cologne May 13-16, is the leading event for suppliers of furniture production and interiors and presents the complete range of products of suppliers to the furniture and interior industries. As the world’s largest trade fair in the sector, interzum once again promises a ‘must-see event’ for everyone aiming for success in the market for furniture production and interiors. That’s because interzum offers a comprehensive overview of new technologies and designs, encompassing an extremely broad scope of products as only a leading international trade fair can. The fair will once again offer a wide selection of:
• Fittings, glass and lighting: features that optimize furniture and interior elements.
• Surfaces, wood-based, stone-based and natural materials: products for furniture design and interiors.
• Upholstery, cover fabrics, leather, machines and tools for material processing: the world’s unique product presentation for upholstery and bedding. interzum Cologne is a leading international show for the whole industry and offers a unique meeting place for ideas, products and innovation. The event will also once again feature an extensive program that includes seminars, special shows and conferences.
And new this year, interzum will no longer be divided into seven different segments, but rather focus on just three main areas:
‘Materials & Nature,’ ‘Function & Components’ and ‘Textile & Machinery’ in order to provide a clearer structure for visitors and exhibitors alike.

Discussing products at interzum.

Interzum organizers Koelnmesse got off to a strong start earlier this year with two major trade fairs, the imm Cologne and LivingKitchen. Now all eyes are turned to interzum 2013 and its focus on materials and design for furniture manufacturers and interior designers.
Show organizers expect packed halls for the 1,500 exhibitors who will show their wares in some 155,000 square meters of exhibition space.
Frank Haubold, Vice President Trade Fair Management promises, “countless world premieres, a really comprehensive and informative support program and interesting workshops.”
He adds that visitors who really want to benefit from the wide variety of displays, should be prepared to spend at least two full days at the show.
In addition, the amended interzum itinerary will almost certainly make scheduling easier. This year the fair will take place from Monday to Thursday, rather than starting on a Wednesday and run into the weekend. And Koelnmesse is once again co-operating closely with Deutsche Messe AG in Hanover, the organizers of LIGNA. The leading trade fair for the wood processing and manufacturing industry will be held the week prior to the interzum which means overseas guest will once again be able to visit both events on one trip.
