Register now for CKCA's regional meeting in Fredericton

The Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association is inviting members to attend CKCA’s next regional meeting in Fredericton, New Brunswick June 10&11.
This regional meeting is being organized to reflect the growing support for the CKCA and to highlight the expanded services of the national trade association for the kitchen cabinet and bathroom vanity industry. Registration is now open and embers and non-members are welcome to attend.
On Monday, June 10, participants will be able to enjoy an afternoon of golf. It’s an opportunity to invite staff to come and mix business with pleasure at the Regional Golf Tournament at Riverbend Golf Club, 541 Route 628 Highway, Durham Bridge, NB. Golf will be followed by a reception and dinner.
CKCA Vice-President Jim Lawrence will present marketing ideas for large and small shops and share new and old marketing ideas you may not have thought of. He will wrap up with highlights of the upcoming September Regional Meeting and 2014 National Forum.
On Tuesday, June 11, participants will be able to tour three unique kitchen and bath cabinetry manufacturers.

Avondale Kitchens designs and manufactures 100% frameless cabinets, and installs approximately four kitchens per week, within a two-hour radius of their factory. They have no dealers or contractor accounts. They use Cabinet Vision, cut nested on a Thermwood CNC. The paint room has a Makor flat line paint finisher and a Lowers sander.

Eastland Industries Ltd. produces framed and frameless kitchen cabinets made of melamine plywood or solid plywood enhanced with a large range of solid wood, painted or thermoplastic style door.
Their product is distributed through 55 dealers all over the Canadian Atlantic provinces. All of them have displays to promote Eastland Industries product and are supported by professional designers working with the 20/20 catalogue. Eastland Industries have the capacity of producing over 200 high-quality cabinets per day, giving them the ability to quote on large multi-unit or single house projects. Custom or standard cabinets are available, since most components are made with computerized equipment. Custom colors are also offered to dealers, as they have a new robotized finishing flat line Q from Makor.

Kitchen Creations Inc. is a unique kitchen and bath cabinetry manufacturer located in Fredericton NB. Their main plant/showroom is a compact but very efficient 5,000 sq. ft. facility with a second, 1,500 sq. ft. building containing a post form countertop cutting station as well as solid surface fabrication.
Their production breakdown is approximately 60% single family, 30% multi-unit and 10% commercial. With a staff of 20, they produce on average 250 kitchens annually plus commercial work.
Kitchen Creations is an extremely flexible company servicing the low, medium and high-end markets with a wide range of products and services.
