The Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association held its regional meeting in Fredericton, New Brunswick June 10 and 11. More than 50 members attended.
It all began on Monday, when participants enjoyed a sunny and warm afternoon of golf and an opportunity to mix business with pleasure at the Regional Golf Tournament at Riverbend Golf Club, Durham Bridge.
Golf was followed by a reception, dinner and a presentation from CKCA’s Vice President Jim Lawrence.
On Tuesday, June 11, participants toured three kitchen and bath cabinetry manufacturers in the area.
Stops included Avondale Kitchens in
Jacksonville (Woodstock), Eastland Industries Ltd.
in Minto, and Kitchen Creations Inc. in
Fredericton.
Avondale Kitchens operates from a 14,000 sq. ft. factory and showroom
and designs and manufactures 100% frameless cabinets, and installs approximately four kitchens per week, within a two-hour radius of their factory. They have no dealers or contractor accounts.
Eastland Industries Ltd.
, produces framed and frameless kitchen cabinets made of melamine plywood or solid plywood enhanced with a large range of solid wood, painted or thermoplastic style door.
Their product is distributed through more than 60 dealers all over the Canadian Atlantic provinces.
Kitchen Creations Inc.,
is a kitchen and bath cabinetry manufacturer which produces on average 250 kitchens annually plus commercial work.
Kitchen Creations services the low, medium and high-end markets with a wide range of products and services.
