At Akhurst Machinery's open house.
In June, Akhurst Machinery hosted open houses in their Delta, B.C. and Dieppe, N.B. branch locations.
The focus of these events was to demonstrate the latest in CNC and standard equipment for the panel processing and wood industries.
In addition the company used this opportunity to celebrate its 75th anniversary and pay special thanks to customers and suppliers.
The open house featured the latest SPECTRA Series CNC Router from Omnitech. This small footprint and economical CNC comes in either 4’x8’ or 5’x10’, 10HP router spindle with tool changer and boring head. Akhurst CNC Product Manager Alex Colic was also demonstrating Mozaik cabinet design software.
Mozaik is a subscription based software package, which allows the user to pay a monthly fee for use of the software. It is a powerful and affordable way to design and output code for CNC machines.
