In 1963 Heinrich Venjakob laid the foundation for Venjakob Maschinenbau in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany. What began in a workshop at his parents’ home has developed into a success story that has spread worldwide and is now in its third generation of family management.
In September, the company held its anniversary celebration at its headquarters in North-Rhine Westphalia.
Managing Director Otto Nüßer, who has been managing the company with his son Christian, told more than 400 guests that he plans to retire from day-to-day business operations and hand over the executive baton to his son.
Up until the early 90s, the company specialized in wood finishing, but today Venjakob sells machines worldwide in the plastics, wood and steel tubing sectors as well as special productions. The company employs more than 300 at its headquarters and other locations.
During the jubilee gala, Otto and Christian Nüßer paid tribute to the achievements of the employees as well as the trusting and uninterrupted cooperation with suppliers, customers and partners.
The gala event was followed by an open house the next day.
