The Bluewater Wood Alliance - in partnership with the Conestoga College - will offer skills enhancement for experienced spray finishers for its member companies and any other interested woodworking company.
Conestoga College will deliver the course, using a state-of-the-art spray simulator. The first part of the training will be held in Walkerton, Ont. on April 24. This classroom session includes a bit of theory and training on the simulator with individual reviews and suggestions on how to spray more effectively.
Companies can also sign on for a second session and bring the instructor from the Conestoga College in-house and train their entire finishing staff in one day on techniques and methods to spray more effectively. Additionally the instructor monitors and evaluated the current finishing set-up and the current performance.
