IMA-Schelling Canada has just completed the move to their new facility at 3400 Ridgeway Drive, Unit 8, in Mississauga, Ontario and on April 3-4 they invited their customers and industry partners to check it out.
“We wanted to give our customers a chance to see where we are and check out the new facility. Our machinery showroom is still a bit of a work in progress,” said Murat Dogan, president of IMA Canada Corp., “but we wanted people to stop in, and have a look and take a walk-through.
“We are also planning an official grand opening and an ‘Edgebander & Beam Saw Open House’ at a later date - in June - and we are now set to receive our next batch of inventory machines in April. The date for the open house has not been finalized.”
Dogan said the new facility will once again be their sales and service hub for Canada with additional service centres in Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia.
“Nothing changes, we will provide sales, service, technical support and parts from this new, larger facility just like we did previously.”
The new offices and showroom are located in close proximity to both Hwy. 403 and Dundas St. and the QEW and Winston Churchill Boulevard intersections.
During the move into their new facility, IMA-Schelling Canada donated their old office furniture and warehouse shelving to Habitat for Humanity where they will be used for a good cause.
“I would also like to encourage all of our industry partners to consider similar donations,” Dogan said.
“If you have any used furniture or cabinets that can be reused or resold, please consider donating them for a good cause such as Habitat for Humanity.”
