Biesse Canada held a successful Open House event in Toronto April 16-17.
Biesse Canada recently held two successful back-to-back events at their Toronto area offices and showroom.
First there was a Sanding Seminar and then the first Toronto Spring 'Biesse Inside' Open House event April 16-17.
Matt Fleming, Biesse’s vice president of sales, said between the two events they had representatives from some 50 companies participate.“We had really good turnout and we sold some machines as well, but really this is about getting the word out about our company and showing customers the machines in action, showing them how they work in real life, integrated in the production process and how they can handle the customer’s very specific needs.
“It’s about planning the seed about Biesse,” Fleming said, “to get people who may not have dealt with us come out and see what we have to offer. The complete package, from machine to service and everything in between.”
Fleming said some 14 companies participated in the earlier sanding seminar, which included in-class training as well as actual, hands-on experience. Also, there were presentation from partner companies who demonstrated some of their products and services.
And the Open House was the perfect opportunity to test-drive some of the industry's most cutting-edge machinery, Fleming said, as well as work with Biesse product specialists and industry professionals, exchanging ideas and learning about new technology.
“We will have our other Spring Open House in Montreal April 30-May 1, and we are planning to have additional seminars in our Toronto facility later this year because these application specific seminars are proving very popular with our customers.”
