It was a full house at HOMAG Canada on June 13, when the company held its open house and CNC seminar event at its Mississauga, Ont. head office.
Participants took advantage of an opportunity to see the latest machinery in action and talk to industry experts.
The event also featured an entry level to industry CNC seminar hosted by HOMAG & WEEKE product specialists from Germany, information sessions and numerous demonstrations.
And of course there was the always-welcome opportunity to network with suppliers, experts and peers.
“We were very satisfied with the event,” says Christian Vollmers, president of HOMAG Canada Inc.
“We have tried to create a combination of information, experiencing new technology combined with the possibility to network with suppliers, partners and industry colleagues.
“This concept has worked extremely well and we are pleased that so many customers have taken advantage of this offer,” Vollmers says.
“Customers as well as co-exhibitors liked the new format of our event and have given us very positive feedback.”
Participants were also able to learn about aggregates in information session and Q&As with HOMAG Canada service specialists and take a look around in the fully-stocked showroom, which features a BARGSTEDT storage and retrieval system in combination with a HOLZMA saw, WEEKE automated nesting cell, BRANDT edgebanders and much, much more.
