CKCA hosted its Fall Regional Event in Halifax, NS on Sept 23-24, with more than 50 members in attendance.
There were a number of guest speakers and plant tours looking at smaller kitchen shops such as Cabinetworks and Genuine Kitchens.
As well, the group stopped at a socially innovative shop called LakeCity Woodworkers, which has been specializing in handcrafted, solid wood furnishings, producing high quality, solid wood products for over 30 years.
The group then headed to historic Lunenburg, where Nova Wood Products operates a finish carpentry and architectural woodwork shop exporting about 65% of their products into the US.
