The Cabinet Makers Association (CMA) is now accepting submissions for their 11th annual Wood Diamonds Awards program, which recognizes excellence in the industry. Nominations will be accepted from March 1 to May 1.
The awards were launched in 2010 as a means for members to be recognized by their peers. After the first winners were announced, the benefits were clear: The program gave the organization an opportunity to promote excellence in the industry, and the winning companies could share these honours as part of their marketing efforts.
“The Wood Diamond Awards have given us a chance to see and showcase the amazing craftsmanship of our members,” says CMA Executive Director Amanda Conger.
“Our members have interacted a lot through our online forums and at events over the years, but they don’t always see the finished projects from other shops. The awards give us a chance to show the outstanding work of their peers, and the added bonus is that the award‐winning work can inspire others in the industry.”

The contest is open to current CMA members only. Non‐members are welcome to join the association so they can participate in the awards program.
All judging is done anonymously by non‐participating members. The winners will be announced during the AWFS Fair this summer.
