Two classical violinists performing among a backdrop of the latest in high-tech woodworking machinery set the stage for the official opening of SCM Canada’s all-new Western Canada location on Sept. 23..
Participants gathered for a tour of the new Technology Centre followed by a gala dinner to celebrate the official opening of the future-focused facility. Guests also had a chance to celebrate SCM’s 70th anniversary in a decidedly Italian style. Giuseppe Riva, CEO of SCM North America and Lauro Dominici, VP sales of SCM Canada, heralded the new location as an expression of collaboration, experimentation, and continued exemplary service for SCM’s Western Canadian subsidiary.
“This is an exciting new chapter for SCM Canada that will no doubt encourage collaboration and cooperation,” says Dominici.
“It is important to us to be proactive in meeting the growing demands in our BC and Alberta markets and nurturing the existing relationships which are so valuable to us.”
