Eric Stebner, left, retires and John Sotham is named new Akhurst CEO and president.
It is with mixed emotions that Akhurst announces the retirement of its CEO & President Eric Stebner.
In his 23 years at the helm of Akhurst, Stebner saw the company through many changes and advancements. He was instrumental in guiding the company to record growth including an expansion of our Ontario facility and the addition of a new branch in Anaheim, California.
Additionally, Stebner saw the company through an ownership transition to the fourth generation in 2016. “Although he will be missed by the staff, owners and vendors, we are excited for Stebner to have more time for his passion of cycling. He intends to take a number of cycling trips at home and abroad over the next coming months.”
Akhurst is pleased to announce the hiring of our new CEO & President John Sotham.
Sotham brings with him a wealth of knowledge from his previous position as CFO of OK Tire and Build Direct.
“He has some big shoes to fill, but we know the company is in good hands under his leadership.”
