WEINIG Group has followed up the announcement of a co-operation agreement with Essentre at LIGNA in May, with the purchase of 50 per cent of the company.
For WEINIG, the strategic partnership is an important addition to the range of products for structural timber engineering and will enable the
company to serve its future customers even better and more comprehensively.
Essetre uses WEINIG’s global sales and service network to further penetrate the relevant markets.
Both partners are pooling their extensive expertise in woodworking to further develop their portfolios and expand their leading positions in their respective markets.
WEINIG CEO Gregor Baumbusch says the companies will continue to operate as equal partners with the goal to become the leading suppliers in the structural timber engineering business.
Essetre specializes in CNC joinery systems for furniture and wood construction.
