LIGNA has strengthened its communications team and Silke Gathmann has taken on the role of press speaker for the world’s leading trade fair for woodworking and wood processing.
Gathmann is a business economist and an experienced trade show communicator who was Deutsche Messe's deputy corporate spokesperson until she joined LIGNA.
Gathmann acquired her communications experience both through her 10 years of PR work for HANNOVER MESSE and over the past eight years in corporate communications at Deutsche Messe, where she worked specifically in the areas of daily media relations and crisis communications.

Together with Kornelia Esch, who as LIGNA's content manager focuses on social media activities, email marketing and web content, Silke Gathmann forms LIGNA's PR communications team and is the first point of contact for the media and PR officers at exhibiting companies.
LIGNA is the world’s leading trade fair for the woodworking and wood processing industry is jointly organized by Deutsche Messe and VDMA Woodworking Machinery.
