N.R. Murphy Limited, of Cambridge, Ontario has just completed the largest and most advanced dust collection project in the company’s 82-year history.
Designed and built for a state-of-the-art woodworking facility in the U.S., this advanced dust collection system sets a new benchmark for power and efficiency.
The system features a high-capacity pulse jet style dust collector, rated for an impressive 56,000 C.F.M., and equipped with 680 8-foot-long filter bags to ensure optimal performance. With its robust 200 H.P. fan motor, the collector is designed to operate seamlessly 24/7, meeting the demands of a heavily automated production environment.
In addition to delivering unparalleled functionality, the system is outfitted with cutting-edge safety features, including an NFPA-compliant rotary air lock and explosion isolation valve, ensuring compliance with industry standards and the highest levels of safety.
Aesthetic integration was also a key consideration.
The dust collector was custom painted to complement the facility's architecture, seamlessly blending innovation with design.
This milestone project underscores N.R. Murphy’s commitment to dust collection excellence and innovation, continuing to provide tailored solutions for the woodworking industry.
The company says it is honoured to play a role in advancing woodworking capabilities and is excited about the future of dust collection technology.
