ALPHACAM 2025.1 isa major update that introduces a host of significant advancements.

Planit Canada has announced the release of ALPHACAM 2025.1, a major update that introduces a host of significant advancements designed to improve user experience, enhance clarity, and expand manufacturing possibilities.
ALPHACAM 2025.1 focuses on delivering an optimized workflow and enriched user interaction through several innovative features.
Improved GUI for solid model rendering
With enhanced solid model rendering, models are now loaded with better tolerance, resulting in smoother appearances and more defined edges. This reduces the need for frequent refreshing (CTRL + R) and facilitates a seamless workflow for users working with solid models.
Refined display options
The new Saw Display Option provides a scaled visual representation of saws, detailing direction, depth of cut, and extents, while Ghost Tools are now colour-coded to match their associated geometry. These improvements offer clearer verification of saw tool paths and enhance the understanding of cuts and geometry directions.
Advanced 5-axis machining
Updated to the latest machining library, this feature includes new tooling options and improved control over multi-axis machining cycles, ensuring consistent and accurate simulation and tool path generation.
Aspire for ALPHACAM V12 integration
Aspire V12 integration brings a modernized user interface with enhanced 3D CAD tools, offering a more refined interface and clearer visuals, reducing mouse travel, and improving layout efficiency.
Enhanced reports with filled color images
Reports now feature coloured parts and nested sheets, making it easier to identify parts and spot errors or inconsistencies in the nesting layout, resulting in more visually engaging and interpretable reports.
Automation manager workflow improvements
New features such as "Show Missing Machining Styles" and "Highlight Unused Setups" streamline error visibility and setup management. The addition of the Minimum 3D Bounding Box Alignment option optimizes material usage and nesting quality, while Multi-Select Job File Processing facilitates batch processing.
ALPHACAM 2025.1 delivers powerful updates designed to enhance productivity and precision for manufacturers, ensuring a more efficient and intuitive user experience.
