Roberto Selci has been appointed CEO of Biesse Group.
Biesse S.p.A. last week announced the resignation of its CEO and general manager Massimo Potenza effective June 12. Potenza has resigned from his positions to take up new professional challenges.
Biesse’s board has appointed chairman Roberto Selci CEO. He is the son of company founder Giancarlo Selci.
Potenza had been part of the Biesse management team since 2020 and was brought in to drive forward the Group’s transformation.
Roberto Selci thanked Massimo Potenza for his contribution to the company’s transformation process, which has led to the creation of an integrated, cross-material ‘One Company’ organization.
The board has given Selci the same powers previously held by Potenza. The leadership change is not expected to alter the company’ focus on innovation and integration across its machinery and automation offerings for wood, glass, stone and advanced materials.
