Patrick Meyer
The Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada, British Columbia Chapter (AWMAC B.C.), has appointed Patrick Meyer as its new executive director. Meyer succeeds Glenda Horsham, who served in the role with distinction and dedication.
Meyer brings more than a decade of leadership experience in the non-profit sector, having previously served for 10 years as executive director of a member-driven organization. Prior to that, he spent six years as chief operating officer at a design/build firm, gaining hands-on experience in operations, strategy and client service in the field of construction.
His combined expertise in both non-profit governance and the construction/design industry positions him well to lead AWMAC B.C. through its next phase of growth.
“We are thrilled to welcome Patrick to AWMAC B.C.,” said Jason Howlett, president of the AWMAC B.C. board.
“His proven leadership, operational insight, and commitment to member engagement will be a tremendous asset to our organization and the industry at large.”
As executive director, Meyer will work closely with the board of directors, staff, and industry partners to strengthen AWMAC B.C.’s presence and deliver on its mission.
“At AWMAC B.C., we are dedicated to elevating the architectural woodwork industry by upholding the highest standards of quality, education, and business practices. Together, we are committed to fostering relationships and integrity, making AWMAC the trusted authority in architectural woodwork.”
“I’m honoured to join AWMAC B.C. at such an important time,” said Meyer. “This chapter has a strong reputation for integrity and excellence, and I look forward to supporting its members and advancing the architectural woodwork industry across British Columbia.”
