This distinction places Garnica among the top three per cent of companies evaluated in the wood product manufacturing sector for sustainability performance and recognizes the company’s strong commitment to environmental responsibility, ethical practices, and sustainable supply chain management.
To earn the Gold Medal, companies must score higher than 95 per cent of all businesses assessed by EcoVadis - an accomplishment that highlights Garnica’s continued progress in advancing responsible policies across its operations.

EcoVadis evaluates more than 125,000 companies across more than 200 industries worldwide, assessing performance in four key areas: Environment, labour & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The rigorous assessment methodology combines data from external sources, company-provided documentation, and industry benchmarks to deliver a comprehensive sustainability scorecard.
Garnica’s high rating places the company at the forefront of sustainability efforts within the wood and wood products sector, a position it has earned through consistent investment in clean energy, low-emission materials, and socially responsible practices. Its unique production model integrates FSC® and PEFC-certified wood, 100 per cent renewable electricity, and ultra-low emission adhesives that meet CARB Phase 2and US EPA TSCA Title VI standards.
