The 2025 WTD event surpasses all expectations.
The 6th edition of the popular Woodworking Technology Days event (WTD) - presented by the Canadian Woodworking Machinery Distributors Association (CWMDA) - was a big success says Murat Dogan, president of IMA-Schelling Canada and CWMDA.
“We had a great event,” Dogan says.
“There is some uncertainty out there about the general economic conditions, but our event surpassed expectations and every one of our members I spoke with was very happy.”
WTD's 6th edition was held for four days, Oct. 21-24, at nine members’ showrooms in Mississauga, Brampton, Cambridge and Vaughan with hundreds attending from across Canada and even the U.S.
WTD has been growing - both in terms of exhibit space and attendance. With the event now offering 30 per cent more space, more than 500 visitors representing more than 340 companies visited participating showrooms.
There was a lot to see in all the showrooms for visitors who got an excellent overview of the latest technology and trends, including some robotic cells and storage systems.
CWMDA thanks all visitors, sponsors, industry and media partners for their participation and support.
WTD 2025 proved again that no other Canadian event offers as much in terms of production and specialized machinery. “Stay tuned as we are already planning our WTD 2026 edition!”
