HOMAG Group has restructured its management organization.
Effective Jan. 1, the HOMAG Group Executive Board has been reduced from three to two members.
Following the departure of Dr. Sergej Schwarz, who has accepted a new challenge within the Dürr Group, the executive board will consist of Dr. Daniel Schmitt (CEO) and Rainer Gausepohl (CFO). The business allocation plan has been adjusted accordingly to ensure clear responsibilities. Schmitt (CEO) will assume responsibility for plant engineering, project sales, production & engineering, and the strategic functions of R&D, industrial engineering, and portfolio management.
Rainer Gausepohl (CFO) will be responsible for strategic management processes and will also assume responsibility for software & digital and sustainability. As part of this realignment, Frederik Meyer will assume responsibility for global sales, which will also include marketing. Meyer already oversees global pricing and global partner management and, in his expanded role, will play a key part in shaping the further development of global sales and marketing activities.
Achim Homeier, previously responsible for marketing, will now focus entirely on expanding strategic portfolio management. This strengthens the HOMAG Group's strategic direction and lays the foundation for the consistent development of its product portfolio. Both executives will report directly to Schmitt.
With this new structure, the HOMAG Group underscores its commitment to further expanding its global market position and actively shaping the opportunities of the coming years.
