Planit and DORR launch Cabinet Vision integration for accurate 3D rendering

Planit Canada has announced a new collaboration with DORR Industries with the launch of the DORR Package for Cabinet Vision, bringing DORR’s full cabinet door catalog directly into the design environment.
This integration allows Cabinet Vision users to design with real DORR products from the start, improving the accuracy of 3D renderings while also introducing a more efficient and reliable way to generate door orders directly from their projects.

Improving design accuracy and workflow
As demand for high-quality visual presentations continues to grow, many designers face a disconnect between what is shown in renderings and what is ultimately specified and ordered. This collaboration addresses that gap by allowing users to work directly with DORR door styles inside Cabinet Vision.
At the same time, it removes a common bottleneck in the workflow: manually compiling door orders after the design is complete.

With the DORR Package, users can:

• apply DORR door styles directly within Cabinet Vision projects
• create more accurate, presentation-ready 3D renders
• design with real, manufacturable products from the start
• automatically generate a complete door list as they design

From design to order, without rework
As designers build their projects using DORR products, Cabinet Vision automatically compiles a complete door listing, including all relevant models, sizes, and quantities.
This eliminates the need to manually recreate orders outside the software. Once the design is complete, users can simply export the report and share it with their distributor.
The result is a faster, more streamlined workflow that reduces the risk of errors and keeps design, specification, and ordering aligned.
