At a recent WMCO plant tour.
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly becoming a practical tool for manufacturers; from improving production planning and quality control to streamlining administrative processes and data analysis.
On April 16, WMCO will host a webinar in partnership with AIProLife Inc., focused on how AI tools can be applied within the wood manufacturing sector.
This session will introduce manufacturers to the types of AI solutions currently available, along with practical strategies for implementation.
This is a Zoom meeting, more information here.
Plant tour at Diamond CNC
And on April 30, WMCO has organized a plant tour at Diamond CNC in Nanticoke, Ontario.
This WMCO Plant Tour offers an opportunity to visit Diamond CNC, an Ontario-based manufacturer that has built a highly efficient, automation-driven production model.
Operating with a lean team, Diamond CNC has scaled output through a combination of advanced equipment, integrated software, and optimized production flow. The facility is designed to minimize manual input, reduce errors, and move efficiently from order to finished product.
The tour will highlight how CNC processing, edgebanding, drilling, and finishing are integrated into a streamlined workflow supported by barcode systems and digital production management.
As manufacturers continue to face labour constraints, rising costs, and increasing customer expectations, this session will provide practical insight into how automation and process design can support scalable growth, improved margins, and operational consistency.
If you want to learn more about automation and how it can reduce labour dependency, this is the tour for you.
