Conestoga College’s Woodworking Centre celebrated student achievements.
Conestoga College’s Woodworking Centre celebrated students‘ craftsmanship, creativity, innovation and technical expertise with its Capstone Display Showcase recently.
The event was attended by friends and family and professors Richard Bruckeder and Joerg Flachmeier to celebrate students' accomplishments and seeing firsthand the exceptional work they have produced.
The showcased projects demonstrate students’ proficiency in design, tool selection, machine operation, equipment use, problem-solving and precision woodworking techniques.
In addition to showcasing student projects, Conestoga recognized outstanding student achievement by presenting several industry-sponsored awards, including the FS Tool Award - Best Manufactured Product Award; Rampa Tec Award, Best Design Excellence Award; and AWMAC Recognition.

AWMAC Ontario donation
AWMAC Ontario donated $1,000 to the college and the funds will either go towards the Al Sparling Memorial Bursary or into the general awards fund to provide financial assistance for students in need.
