Ryan Akhurst of Akhurst Machinery, president of the Canadian Woodworking Machinery Distributors Association, is pleased to officially launch the latest edition of this important industry event today.
Woodworking Technology Days runs this week over four days, from Tuesday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., within members’ different showrooms, located in Mississauga, Brampton and Vaughan.
This year, visitors can visit eight showrooms where they can see machinery running real production, bring parts or applications they are struggling with, and have meaningful conversations with machinery, tooling, software and production specialists. Artificial intelligence will certainly be a matter for discussion as to how it will ultimately fit into manufacturing.
Visit www.woodworkingtechnologydays.com to register and check the impressive WTD 2026 machinery showcase, which will give you a good overview of what you can see. Focusing on production and specialized machinery and offering a personalized and professional approach, the WTD is the annual machinery event you don’t want to miss.
