The smartSHOP at AWFS Fair in Las Vegas - a fully operational cabinet shop on the exhibit floor - has donated 30 upper and 30 lower cabinets to The Animal Foundation, Las Vegas.
The smartSHOP, which showcases ‘Simplicity in Automation for the Small Shop,’ this year brought automation down to scale for modest size shops.
It offered a great opportunity for visitors to see how it takes less time to do more, and do it with ease and sophistication.
Hosted by industry expert, Gero Sassenberg and other professionals who answered questions as an automated shop demonstrates the machinery and processes of cabinet construction from data input software to cabinet assembly. The experts spoke with attendees while demonstrating the automation process—from start to finish. The cabinets manufactured during smartSHOP demonstrations made up the donation.
John Gerhardt of The Animal Foundation, said the organization, a non-profit animall shelter, is very grateful for the generous donation which helps them outfit their facility.
