WMS 2013 is experiencing a significant increase in exhibitor numbers.

The upcoming Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo (WMS 2013, Oct. 24-26 at the International Centre in Mississauga (Toronto) Ontario) is far outpacing WMS 2011 in terms of number of exhibitors, contracted exhibit space and preregistered attendance.
Canada’s biggest industrial woodworking show — North America’s third largest — is on the verge of a sell-out and early registrations are up by more than 30 per cent and that is great news for organizers and the industry as a whole.
“On the heels of a very strong AWFS and surging North American construction market we are expecting the strongest WMS in recent years,” says Steve Reiss, vice president of Vance Communications Canada.
“We are very close to selling out exhibit space – with just weeks to go the number of exhibitors is already 41% ahead of WMS 2011.
“This will truly be an international show and we have exhibitors from North American, European and Asian countries, including: Canada, United States, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Ireland, Austria, United Kingdom, China and Malaysia.”
The biennial trade show at the International Centre in Mississauga (Toronto) Ontario, promises to be a great show as woodworking professionals everywhere are gearing up to see the latest and greatest the industry has to offer.
And only the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo (WMS) brings the world's leading players of machinery, tooling and supplies right to the doorstep of the robust Canadian woodworking industry.
Canada’s premier woodworking event will play host to Canada’s largest display of woodworking machinery, supplies and services.
Organizers say WMS 2013 will help put attendees on the path to a brighter future while helping them meet today’s challenges by offering up Canada’s single best source for education on strategies to operate smarter and leaner, add value to products, help business take advantage of online and new media opportunities, and open doors to new markets.
“We will have a larger selection of woodworking machinery and CNC technology than the last time, and most of the industry’s key players are participating including Akhurst, CNC Automation, Felder, WEINIG and HOLZ-HER, IMA/Schelling, Normand Machine, SCM, Superfici, Taurus Craco, and Venjakob,” Reiss says.
“And on the supplier side virtually all the key players are participating as well, including Becker Acroma, Blum, Flakeboard, GRASS, Hettich, McFaddens, Richelieu, Salice, Uniboard and Upper Canada.”
Reiss added that they also have major support from leading trade associations and college-level woodworking institutions, including: ACIMALL, Italian Woodworking Machinery Association, AFFEMA, Spanish Woodworking Machinery, Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada, Canadian Hardwood Plywood & Veneer Association, Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association, Centre for Advanced Wood Processing at the University of British Columbia, Conestoga College, Deutsche Messe, organizer of LIGNA Hanover, Mohawk College, Wood Component Manufacturers Association, Wood Products magazine, Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America and the Wood Manufacturing Council.

WMS will offer a wide variety of machinery, technology and suppliers.
