The Wood Manufacturing Council (WMC) is presently updating its National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the following occupations in the wood manufacturing industry:
- Machine Operator / Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Machine Operator
NOS describe the relevant tasks, knowledge and/or skills associated with a particular occupation and are used to standardize or benchmark jobs across the industry. They are used to develop job descriptions, training programs and/or development plans.
WMC needs your help to ensure that the standards are properly updated and represent the wood manufacturing industry across Canada.
You will be directed to the occupation you are most familiar with.
If you choose to review more than one occupation, please return to the survey and select a different option.
This survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete per occupation.
