Canada’s only bilingual secondary wood event, Canada Woodworking East (Bois ouvré de l’est du Canada) takes place Nov 2-3, at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium.
This biennial show is the ideal venue for secondary woodworkers from Quebec and across Eastern Canada to connect with manufacturers and distributors of machinery, hardware, and accessories. More than 2,000 cabinet manufacturers, residential and commercial furniture manufacturers, custom wood product manufacturers, architectural woodworkers, and millworkers are expected to attend the event.
“We are very pleased to announce the support of a number of Canadian industry associations for this event,” says show manager Mike Neeb.
“Their endorsement will help ensure this is THE woodworking event in Eastern Canada.”
For the 2016 edition of Canada Woodworking East, endorsing associations include:
· Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada (AWMAC), Quebec
· Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association (CKCA)
· Wood Manufacturing Council
· Centre for Advanced Wood Processing (CAWP)
· Canadian Hardwood Plywood and Veneer Association (CHPVA)
Canada Woodworking East will once again be co-located with InterSaw – the international sawmilling expo. The InterSaw portion of the event will attract sawmill owners, mill workers, and other stakeholders. It focuses on the full spectrum of sawmilling equipment and technology, from influences in the log-yard through primary and secondary breakdown, to the final shipping of the product.
Combined, these cutting-edge industry events perfectly complement one another to meet the demands of the multifaceted Canadian woodworking industry.
