Monarch Custom Plywood is growing.
Monarch Custom Plywood triples its press cycle production with the addition a double custom hardwood plywood panel press at its Vaughan, Ont. manufacturing facility.
“It is a great step forward for Monarch,” says Ron Patterson, managing partner, Monarch Custom Plywood Inc.
“The addition of our new automated plywood press line with its double panel press will significantly impact our production capabilities. Along with it, the recent addition of our Mahros automated panel trim line, Monarch will be able to supersede the growing demand for custom hardwood veneer plywood panels, not only for our domestic markets, but for our export markets as well.”
The new Colombo R. double plywood panel press at Monarch includes an automated feed station, pre-press station, and an output stacking station. The Colombo R. press will produce four-foot-wide custom hardwood plywood panels. The Colombo R. automated press line was fabricated in Italy by Mantovani Macchine under the direction of Aldo Sforza, Monarch’s production manager.
Monarch’s semi-automated Wemhöner single panel press line will continue to produce four and five-foot-wide custom hardwood plywood panels.
