IWF in Atlanta will feature more than 1,010 exhibitors.
This year’s International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta is not only the most important industry show of the year, but it is also going to be a sold out event with more than 1,010 exhibitors and strong attendance.
Tom Onsrud, IWF 2016 show chairman and president of C.R. Onsrud, says this year’s fair is also going to feature nearly 300 first time exhibitors and hotel bookings and registrations are now running more than 30 per cent ahead of 2014.
IWF Atlanta, Aug. 24-27, at the Georgia World Congress Center, will occupy more than 500,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space and offer their largest conference schedule ever, with 60 educational sessions and 6 full-day symposiums on flooring, composites, closets, finishing, veneering, countertops.
Since the show is sold out, organizers have been adding some space in their supply building.
IWF is the largest industry show in the Americas, and when asked what that means for visitors, Onsrud says: “Everything.”
“Everything you need, every product you can imagine for your business will be on display. You will be able to network, engage, learn and see it all at one place. That’s IWF, there is nothing else like it.”
IWF will feature six symposiums on Aug. 23, the day before show start, as well as an expanded educational program, which begins Aug. 24, with nearly 60 sessions.
“This will be our largest event since 2008,” Onsrud says. “We will offer our largest education program ever and there will certainly be something of interest for everyone. There will sessions on business management, marketing, production and manufacturing techniques.”
“We expect more than 25,000 visitors, and demand for exhibit space has been extremely high and we are pleased that it is a sold-out show.”
