Cefla North America, a world leader in finishing, decorating and digital printing for woodworking and other industries, has hired Jim Bueneman as sales area manager for its north central territory. Bueneman becomes the newest member of a team dedicated to finding innovative solutions to enhance wood products and byproducts, as well as applications for glass, plastic, fiber cement, composite materials and metal.
According to Cefla sales manager Brent Warren, Bueneman will take responsibility for managing accounts directly for Cefla products, as well as managing and growing the company’s distribution network within the territory. “Jim’s strengths, dedication and expertise combine to make him an excellent addition to our team,” Warrens says. “His knowledge of our industry and enduring relationships within it will serve our customers well for years to come.”
As a former manufacturers’ agent for The Key Machinery Group, Bueneman provided direct sales representation for the Cefla Finishing Group and other prominent machinery and tooling manufacturers. He also worked as Sales and Product Manager for a leading manufacturer of systems for solid wood and panel processing, spearheading territory and product growth throughout the U.S. and Canada. As operations manager for International Wood Products, Inc., he had direct responsibility for the manufacture and distribution of solid wood flooring and linear moldings.
Over his career, Bueneman has specialized in the secondary manufacturing sectors for woodworking, composites and plastics, focusing on improving quality, process and labor utilization.
