Leitz Canada is turning over a new leaf in the history of Leitz Tooling System LP.
In accordance with the Leitz slogan “Solutions in New Dimensions,” the company decided to strengthen Leitz’s market approach in the Canadian market place.
During a recent strategy meeting at its Drummondville, Que. offices — involving Leitz’s CEO Jürgen Köppel and CFO Robert Lukassen — the company agreed to implement a clear growth strategy to bring Leitz Canada in line with the Canadian customer’s expectations.
In order to support the next growth stage of the company, the decision was made to initiate this next, important step with a Canadian head of management. Both German managers thanked present CEO Jos Wittebol for his contribution and the work he put into Leitz Canada. Until a new CEO is found, Christoph Lang, from Leitz’s headquarters, will act as an interims manager in Drummondville. Glenn Mihalovic, also from Drummondville, and
Jim Drummond, from Kitchener, Ont. will support Lang with
their market experience in order
to guarantee the best possible service for Leitz customers
across Canada.
