HOLZ-HANDWERK 2018 opened with strong crowds, which continued right through the event’s four-day run in Nuremburg, Germany.
The show featured 515 exhibitors from 19 countries and attracted large numbers of woodworking professionals, specifically cabinet-makers, joiners and carpenters from all over Europe. HOLZ-HANDWERK focuses on machine technology, equipment and supplies for small to medium size shops in the woodworking sector.
On display were the latest trends and innovations for the woodworking & wood processing sector – ranging from fully automated CNC equipment to standard machinery, finishing and extraction systems to hardware and supplies.
Automation and networked equipment were key themes.
The show is co-located with FENSTERBAU FRONTALE, the world’s leading exhibition for windows and doors and many HOLZ-HANDWORK exhibitors used the occasion to show specialized equipment for this sector.
Stefan Dittrich, exhibition director for HOLZ-HANDWERK, was pleased with the event and said they are already looking forward to their 20th anniversary exhibition in 2020. The next exhibition will take place in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg March 18-21, 2020
