At the last HOLZ-HANDWERK in Nuremberg, Germany.
Against the background of the continuing corona pandemic and its effects on the world economy, NürnbergMesse and VDMA Woodworking Machinery have decided, in agreement with the Department of Environment and Health of the City of Nuremberg, not to hold HOLZ-HANDWERK in conjunction with FENSTERBAU FRONTALE in 2020.
The uncertain situation is leading to a declining willingness to invest and that along with limited business activity due to official orders and international travel restrictions make it difficult for trade fair participants to plan and prepare for their participation.
"We would like to express our sincere thanks for the numerous trusting and constructive discussions with industry representatives over the past few days, who have supported us in our decision-making process,” says Petra Wolf, member of the management board of NürnbergMesse.
“Our goal of creating a special experience for exhibitors and visitors with the events HOLZ-HANDWERK and FENSTERBAU FRONTALE and enabling the varied establishment and expansion of business relations cannot be realized under the influence of the Corona crisis."
More than 1,300 exhibitors from 42 countries and more than 110,000 visitors from well over 100 countries were expected at the event.
NürnbergMesse had initially postponed HOLZ-HANDWERK und FENSTERBAU FRONTALE from March to June 2020.
Save the Date
The next HOLZ-HANDWERK and FENSTERBAU FRONTALE will take place March 29 to April 1, 2022 as scheduled according to the biennial rotation.
