Hardwoods (HDI) has officially launched DesignOneSource, it's new specification division to provide the design and millwork community seamless support for decorative surface materials across North America by aligning leading global suppliers and front-of-trend interior decor products.
Supported by a vast internal information network, DesignOneSource provides instant access to design inspiration, trend insight, vendor coordination, and training and technical product support.
The DesignOneSource specification team includes 15 experienced industry professionals combined with a tremendous product offering supplied by 66 distribution centers that represent materials from: Rugby Architectural Building Products, Hardwoods Specialty Products and Paxton Lumber.
That means creating a new project just got a whole lot easier with more than 500,000 SKUs that are integrated with real time material tracking, order processing, and inventory status.
The DesignOneSource website offers project imagery, documents, tools and numerous support services. Satisfy CEU training with on-demand product education, or experience 3D environments with expansive customization options using the virtual reality design tools. “The primary objective of the new service is to stimulate demand across North America for our decorative panels and lumber products, then channel those opportunities towards our customers base,” says Todd Graham, DesignOneSource North American specification manager.
“Two years ago we determined that the industry was evolving and needed a different type of support than was currently being provided. So we went back to the drawing board and created a new program totally focused on servicing the needs of the A&D client base based on todays conditions.”
