Ralf W. Dieter takes over Jan. 1.
Ralf W. Dieter is taking over as CEO of HOMAG Group AG.
Dieter was appointed CEO by the supervisory board of HOMAG Group AG effective Jan 1. He will hold this position in addition to his function as CEO of Dürr AG.
Dieter will resign from his role as chairman of the supervisory board of HOMAG Group AG and his membership of the supervisory board as of Dec. 31. Gerhard Federer, member of the supervisory board of HOMAG Group AG, was elected as the new chairman of the supervisory board, effective Jan. 1.
"Due to my long-standing function as chairman of the supervisory board of HOMAG Group, I know the company very well and I am very much looking forward to now taking over operational responsibility for the HOMAG Group,” Dieter said.
Late in September, Pekka Paasivaara, the previous CEO of the HOMAG Group, announced he would not be available for a contract extension and will be leaving the company by mutual agreement on Dec. 31.
"Pekka Paasivaara has played a major role in the further development of HOMAG,” said Dieter.
“He has been particularly successful in driving forward the expansion of HOMAG´s international business."
